Version 1.2.0 Release Notes

Version 1.2.0 was the final 1.x documentation baseline used to build this archive. Documentation for that line was maintained in module-level README files rather than a Docusaurus site.

Use the pages in this version to maintain existing 1.2 installations or to compare 1.x behavior with the 2.0 rewrite.
